How Okami uses your information

Okami uses your account email and security records to provide and protect your account. If you create a profile, it also uses the work information, career text, six-element shape, choices, and coach answers you provide to produce your private AI impact reading and the actions attached to it.

Account processing is needed to provide the invited account. Profile, career-import, reading, and coach processing rely on the choices and consent you give in the product. Minimal security and audit records are kept for the operator's legitimate interest in protecting Okami and investigating misuse.

Okami sends limited reading inputs to OpenAI to classify curated AI signals and help interpret their relevance. It does not send your name or account email in those reading prompts. Career import sends the career text you explicitly choose to import.

The optional AI coach sends the answers and conversation visible in that chat to OpenAI for each response. Okami does not save the coach transcript on its server; your browser keeps a temporary session copy so a refresh does not erase the conversation. Processor retention is governed by OpenAI's terms. Resend receives your email only when an approved email is sent. Hosting and database providers process encrypted or operational data as needed to run the product.

Account and profile data are retained while your consented account exists. You can edit your profile, export your data, or delete the account from Account. Account deletion removes the profile, readings, sessions, and related personal rows through Okami's erasure process.

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission. Okami is a self-use reflection tool: it does not make employment or other decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
